On the 100th anniversary of the end of the First World War, Carnforth Town Council is proud to release images of the hugely popular The Men on the Monument: The Carnforth Poppy Trail leaflet, written by local historian Steven Richmond with our support.
The leaflet pays tribute to men the who lived in the Town and who gave their lives fighting to protect our freedom. It gives an insight into each one of the brave men who left the Town to fight in the First World War and never came home or later died of their injuries.
WE SHALL REMEMBER THEM!
