On Sunday 5th June everyone is invited to throw open their doors and take to their streets, gardens and neighbourhoods to share food, have fun and get to know each other a little better with a Big Jubilee Lunch.
Carnforth Town Council is inviting our local community to come together for this once in a lifetime event as part of the official celebrations for HM The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee!
Whether it’s sharing a cuppa with a neighbour on the doorstep or a bigger bash in the street, join millions of people across the UK to share friendship, food and fun with The Big Jubilee Lunch.
The Town Council can signpost residents who wish to organise a Big Lunch to available resources, advise, support and ideas. It doesn’t need to be overly complicated or require a lot of resources or money: it can be as big or as small as you like. You could simply hold one on your doorstep, ask people to come out at the same time, and bring your own snack or beverage!
