At the Annual Meeting last night (22nd May) Councillor Kathleen (Kath) Bromilow was elected as the Town Mayor for the municiple year 2019/2020. Well known around the town for her volunteer work Kath is a former president of Carnforth Rotary Club; a member of the Friends of Carnforth Swimming Pool and The Royal Marines Association and a Trustee of Vera Wolstencroft Charity. In her ‘day job’ she is the Office Manager for the National Volunteer Police Cadets.
Kath is very much looking forward to leading the Town Council and serving the local community in the coming year.
Cllr Larry Branyon was elected Deputy Mayor.
