Following a formal co-option process the Town Council are pleased to announce that Mr Stephen Watson has been selected as a Councillor for the Crag Bank Ward.
Members interviewed a strong field of six candidates and are grateful to everyone who took the time to apply. The process really did demonstrate the pride and passion that people have for this town and its future.
Stephen, who lives in Crag Bank, joins us with a wealth of experience in property management and a desire to involve young people, local groups and organisations in developing the town and having a say on its future.
Stephen will officially join us at the Town Council meeting this Wednesday (17th July).
